Actor Kang Myung-ju, who played the role of a judge in the South Korean ENATV series "Lawyer Woo Young-woo is a Genius," has passed away after a battle with cancer. He was 54 years old.
Park SeYeong, Kang Myung-ju's daughter and an actress, posted on her SNS on the 28th, "My mother went on a trip yesterday.
"I hope you will remember the stage that my mother loved and the shining moments together," the post read. The funeral will be held at Seoul St. Mary's Hospital.
The ceremony was held at 7:40 pm. Kang Myung-ju made her debut in 1992 with the Experimental Theater's "Kuni Nara" and has appeared in many plays, including "Gun Yiruma Hamlet" and "Blood and Seeds."
He continued to play an active role in the ENATV series "Lawyer Woo Young Woo is a Genius" as a judge, and most recently appeared in the play "20th Century Blues".
