韓国人のワーキングホリデー再取得可能になるか...日本、許可対象国として追加の方向
Will Koreans be able to get working holidays again? Japan is moving to add Koreans to list of countries eligible for working holidays
Kyodo News reported that the Japanese government has decided to allow young foreigners who entered the country on working holidays to re-obtain their visas, but only from certain countries.
According to the media, on the 2nd, to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations, South Korea, the UK, Canada and other countries are hosting working holiday ceremonies.
The working holiday is a system based on an agreement between the two countries that allows young people to stay in Japan for a certain period of time and use the money to cover travel expenses.
Japan first introduced the Working Holiday Program to Australia in 1980, and it has since expanded to 30 countries and regions.
In principle, young people are granted visas once for one year, and they are not allowed to re-obtain them. Of the eight countries for which visas have been re-obtained, young people from the UK and Canada can re-obtain their visas and continue working without having to return to their home countries.
The remaining six countries, including New Zealand, Denmark, Australia, Germany, Ireland and Slovakia, will be required to take a second holiday after returning home.
The Japanese government has decided to allow young foreigners to retake working holiday visas in order to secure human resources to meet the rapidly increasing demand for foreign tourists, Kyodo News reported.
I got it.
