The Digital Times commissioned the Korea Social Opinion Institute (KSOI) to conduct a survey on the 28th of last month to the 1st of this month.

Narrowing the scope of the survey, 64.4% of people who consider themselves moderate were in favor of impeachment, while 33.7% were opposed.
Although the number of people in favor of impeachment has dropped significantly since just after the state of martial law, the number of people in favor of impeachment still exceeds those against it.
Opposition to impeachment remained at the 10% level immediately after the state of emergency. Party approval ratings were close, with the Democratic Party of Korea at 40.3% and the People Power Party (the ruling party) at 41.1%.

In particular, 80.7% of people in their 20s were in favor. 59.2% of people were in favor of lowering the top inheritance tax rate from 50% to 40%, while 26.7% were opposed.
The survey was conducted using a structured questionnaire and telephone AR, targeting a randomly selected sample from the virtual number frame of mobile phones provided by telecommunications companies.
