Nikka Whisky officially launches four types of whiskey in Korea, including ”Taketsuru Pure Malt” - Korean media
FJ Korea, an alcohol importer, announced that it will officially sell Nikka Whisky products in Korea. Nikka Whisky products have gained many fans both in Korea and overseas.
In January 2025, the global beverage industry magazine Drinks International published the "Brand Report 2025" and named it the "Best Selling Whisky in the World" in the Whisky category.
The beer to be sold in Korea this time is "Taketsuru Pure Malt" named after the founder, Masataka Taketsuru, and "Shi
The four varieties are "Single Malt Yoichi," "Single Malt Yoichi Miyagikyo," and "From the Barrel." Among them, "From the Barrel" has an alcohol content of 51.4% and was first released in 1985.
This year marks the 40th anniversary of the product's release. An FJ Korea official said, "Nikka Whisky was founded by Taketsuru, who is known among enthusiasts as the 'father of Japanese whiskey', and has many fans.
"We will be offering our products to Korean consumers on a full scale. We want many people to experience the diverse products and culture that incorporate Taketsuru's philosophy."
