Secretary of State's social media account impersonated... False advertising for ”Hong Kong Official Token”

On the 6th (local time), an account was created to impersonate Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee's X account to promote the "Hong Kong Official Meme Coin (KONG)."
The account said, "The coin will be issued on the Solana (SOL) network," and "Digital Transformation
The post in question has now been deleted. The fake account has 40,000 followers and is also carrying a "grey badge" that certifies it as a public institution.
The Hong Kong government denied the existence of the meme coin.
