Democratic Party: ”The answer is for the Constitutional Court to quickly impeach President Yoon”

Meanwhile, the Democratic Party officially demanded the resignation of Prosecutor General Shim Woo-jung, on the grounds that she has abandoned her appeal against the court's decision to lift the arrest of President Yoon Seok-yeol.
After the general assembly of lawmakers on the same day, Park Chan-dae, floor leader of the Democratic Party, said, "The Democratic Party will immediately take measures to indict Shim Woo-jung and will impeach her if she refuses to immediately resign.
"It is the duty of the National Assembly to protect constitutional order and democracy," he said, adding, "The Democratic Party of Korea will do everything it can to protect the people and the country."
