I will never forget you. Rest in peace," he said in a statement. The day before, Whee Sung's management office, TAJOY Entertainment, said, "We are so heartbroken and saddened by the loss of our deceased.
We are sorry to deliver this tragic news. Whee Sung left us today. He was found in cardiac arrest at his home in Seoul and was pronounced dead."
They continued, "The sudden tragic news is heartbreaking for the bereaved family, fellow artists and employees of TAJOY Entertainment."
The management office also stated, "We are sorry to have to deliver such unfortunate news to the fans who have shown us their unstinting love and support.
"I am heartbroken. Details regarding the funeral will be announced separately," he said. According to the police, no evidence of intrusion or other criminal suspicions have been found to date.
The National Institute of Scientific Affairs is currently investigating whether there was a suicide note and the specific circumstances of the death.
The ministry plans to request an autopsy on the body.
