Thai Monetary Authority Approves Stablecoins USDT and USDC

Thailand's financial regulator, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), has legalized the listing and trading of USDT and USDT on exchanges.
Tether, the USDT issuer, said, "This approval allows us to trade USDT in Thailand.
"This has paved the way for cryptocurrency transactions to be allowed in Thailand, and we have laid the foundation for their use as a payment method," he said.
Tether said, "USDT accounts for approximately 40% of cryptocurrency trading volume in Thailand," and that it "will support the growth of stablecoins in Thailand."
