”SEVENTEEN” wins four Japan Gold Disc Awards... ”We are honored to receive this precious award”

Idol group SEVENTEEN won the most trophies among foreign artists at the Japan Gold Disc Awards.
On the 12th, the Recording Industry Association of Japan announced that "SEVENTEEN" won the "Best Actress JeeAn" award at the "39th Japan Gold Disc Awards".
The award is given to the Asian artist who has the highest sales based on physical albums, music videos, streaming, etc.
This is the second year in a row that SEVENTEEN has won this category. In addition, SEVENTEEN won the award for their best album "17 IS RIGHT" released in April last year.
"17 IS RIGHT HERE" and the 12th mini album "SPILL THE FEELS" released in October were ranked in the "Best 3 Albums" in the Asia division.
"HERE" was also selected as the "Album of the Year" in the Asia category, proving their high popularity in Japan. Thus, "SEVENTEEN" won the "39th Japan Gold Disc Award"

The Japan Gold Disc Awards, which began in 1987, is an award given by the Recording Industry Association of Japan to artists who have contributed to the development of the album industry.
The awards ceremony will award artists and works, and the winners and winning works in each category will be selected based on sales and streaming performance of albums and music videos released over the past year.
"SEVENTEEN" achieved overwhelming success in Japan last year. They ranked 1st in the "Combined Album Ranking" and "Album Ranking" categories of the "Oricon Annual Ranking 2024".
It was the highest ranking for a foreign artist. It also ranked 4th in Oricon's annual "Total Sales by Artist" ranking, and is the highest ranking for artists outside of Japan, including K-POP.
Meanwhile, "SEVENTEEN" will hold "SEVENTEEN" concerts at Kyocera Dome Osaka on April 24th and 26th to 27th, and Saitama Super Arena on May 10th to 11th.
