Park BoGum and his co-stars in ”Moonlight Drawn by Clouds” put on a fantastic stage... KBS's first record of ”THE SEASONS”
The first recording of the music show ‘THE SEASONS - Park Bo Gum's Cantabile (’THE SEASONS‘)’ took place at the KBS New Wing Public Hall in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul, on the evening of the 11th. Singer-songwriter Jung Jun-il celebrated Park Bo Gum's first recording by appearing on a KBS music show after six years since ‘Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook’.

The seventh season of KBS's music show ‘THE SEASONS’ will kick off on the 14th, with actor Park Bo Gum as the seventh host. He is the first actor host of the show, which has been hosted by singers such as Park Jae-beom, Lee Hyo-ri and Lee Yong-ji. Park Bo-gum also suggested the name of the show, which incorporates the musical term ‘cantabile’ meaning ‘as if singing’. Park Bo-gum said, "I have done a music drama called Naeil's Cantabile (2014)" and that he "wanted to do a show called Cantabile if I had the chance one day."

Guests with close ties to Park Bo Gum appeared on the recording. Actors Kwak Dong-yeon, Kim Yoo-jung and Jin-young (B1A4), with whom Park Bo Gum performed in ‘Moonlight Drawn by Clouds’, appeared and sang ‘Popcorn’ by ‘EXO’ D.O. The ‘Moonlight Drawn by Clouds’ team set the mood with their tasteful self-introductions. As a guest who has taken over their friendship for a long time, Park Bo Gum presented a refreshing and amusing exchange.

Noh Young-shim and Sonu Jung-ah, hosts of KBS's first late-night music programme ‘Noh Young-shim's Little Music Party’, as well as Woo-ji and Hosi from ‘SEVENTEEN’ also performed on stage. Lee Yong-ji, who undertook the previous season of ‘THE SEASONS’, ‘Lee Yong-ji's Rainbow’, also sat in the audience and cheered. Lee Yong-ji told Park Bo-gum that he should be able to dance at least to ‘Supernova’ from ‘aespa’, and performed the refrain dance to ‘Supernova’ with Park Bo-gum and the actors from ‘Moonlight Drawn by Clouds’.

Park Bo Gum also graced the stage. Park Bo Gum sang with IU's ‘Friday’, referring to Friday, the day of the week on which ‘Cantabile’ is broadcast, as ‘Rubber Day’. He also presented the audience with candies he had prepared to commemorate White Day on the 14th, the day of the first broadcast.

‘Park Bo Gum's Cantabile’ plans to expand opportunities for newcomers to communicate with the public of the sect. At the production announcement on the day, PD Choi Seung-hee said, "We are producing this programme with the mindset of protecting the last bastion of music programmes with the production budget of 30 years ago" and "Rather than focusing on weekly ratings, we will create a meaningful broadcast that introduces newcomers who are unknown to the public."

THE SEASONS - Park Bo Gum's Cantabile will be broadcast every Friday at 10pm in Korea, starting with the first broadcast at 10pm on the 14th.
