<Korean TV Series NOW> ”The Art of Negotiation” EP3, Lee Je Hoon begins negotiations = Viewership rating 5.8%, Synopsis/Spoiler
*This article contains spoilers. In EP3 of the JTBC TV series "The Art of Negotiation" (viewership rating: 5.8%), M&A team leader Junho (Lee Je Hoon) faces the crisis facing the group.
Junho has chosen e-commerce as the survival strategy for the Sanin Group, and is trying to secure a distribution platform, which is a necessary element for that.
With the consent of the group's executive director Tae-soo (Jang Hyun Sung), JUNHO begins full-scale negotiations. JUNHO has created a game called "Delivery King" that resembles a realistic delivery system.
However, CEO Hojin (Jang In-seop) has strong pride in games and turns down Junho's proposal.
Meanwhile, Han Cheol (Lee Si Hoon), the CEO of DC Games, which is in an antagonistic relationship with Cha Cha Games, contacts San In Group.
However, Hojin, feeling a sense of crisis, returned to the negotiating table. He offered to hand over the program file containing the blockchain technology in exchange for 10 billion won.
Technology could revolutionize inventory management, which is at the heart of the logistics industry, making it clear to Junho and his M&A team that they had no choice but to acquire ChaCha Games.
JUNHO reported the acquisition plan to Sung Dong Il, the chairman of Sangin Group, who has the final decision-making authority, and Jaesik gave his approval, saying, "Okay, buy it."
However, Hojin suddenly changed his mind and withdrew from the contract, creating a crisis. A rival company offered to pay Hojin double the amount that Junho had offered.
In response, Junho personally visited Hojin to confirm the truth and set out to turn the negotiations around again.
