Kim Soo Hyun's side sues the late Kim Sae-ron's side, ”The family should never have been provoked.”

The bereaved family of the late actress Kim Sae-ron, through Kwon, director of the Korean Celebrity Suicide Prevention Association, appealed to the family not to provoke the bereaved family. In particular, Director Kwon told Kim Soo Hyun's side that it was wrong to provoke Kim Sae-ron's aunt, who is the same as the family. The bereaved family also revealed that while they were most worried about Kim Sae-ron's two younger sisters, they had dreamt of becoming actresses, but one of them gave up acting after seeing her sister who passed away.

　Director Kwon, on the side of Kim Sae-ron's bereaved family, held a press conference on the 17th in front of the Seoul Police Department with a lawyer from a legal firm that has been appointed to act as legal representative of Kim Sae-ron's bereaved family and the head of the Garosero Institute, Kim.

　Director Kwon said that he had been in contact with Kim Sae-ron from 2008 to 2014, but that "the bereaved family has delegated everything to me" and that "I want the bereaved family to live on. Please do not provoke the family", he stressed.

　Director Kwon earlier commented that Kim Soo Hyun's agency, GOLDMEDALIST, had raised the issue that an acquaintance of the deceased's mother had turned into her aunt, saying, "It was a mistake to provoke the family. I was angry that they reduced the truthfulness of such an aunt while making her an acquaintance of her mother."

　Regarding Kim Sae-ron's aunt, Director Kwon said, "Kim Sae-ron's mother does not have an aunt by marriage. The aunt who is more like her own mother than her mother is the aunt who recently interviewed ‘Garosero Institute’’ and explained that she was the aunt who consulted with her mother and father about their problems whenever she herself became distressed, as they must be going through a difficult time.

She continued, "To Kim Sae-ron, her aunt and cousin were like family to her. She was more like an aunt than her real aunt," adding, "Her mother is currently bedridden, so my aunt is helping her unpack her things and acting as her mother. When a daughter commits suicide in this way, those around her often follow suit. So to prevent that from happening, her aunt is watching over her mother."

　Director Kwon particularly noted that "it was that very aunt who took responsibility for Kim Sae-ron for 20 years, from the time she was very young", and added "If I had not provoked my aunt, I would have opposed revealing their relationship to Kim Soo-hyun. But I could not hold back the bereaved family."

　He also referred to Kim Sae-ron's two sisters.

　Director Kwon said, "What the bereaved family is most worried about are Kim Sae-ron's two younger sisters, both of whom dreamt of becoming actresses, but one of them gave up acting," adding, "Seeing her sister pass away in vain like that, she gave up. The other one, I don't know what will happen to her." He continued, "The family should never have been provoked."
