[Official Interview] Actor Jung Junho, on his fan meeting in Japan at the end of this month: ”I'm so excited to be here for my first fan meeting in 14 years that I want to hug everyone”

Top Korean actor Jung Junho will be holding a fan meeting at the Yurakucho Asahi Hall on Friday, March 28th. We asked him about his thoughts and feelings regarding his upcoming visit to Japan.
Q. First of all, how did you feel when it was decided that you would be holding your first fan meeting in Japan in 14 years?
Jung Junho: I'm really happy to be able to meet my fans after such a long time.
I'm really looking forward to it! I'm very happy. Q. Have you been to Japan since the last Fan Meeting?
Jung Junho: I think I go to Japan about twice a year.
Q. You were in Japan that long! So is there anything from the fan meeting 14 years ago that you still remember?
Jung Junho: After the fan meeting was over, I vividly remember shaking hands with everyone and taking photos with everyone.
Q. What do you think has changed the most in the past 14 years? Jung Junho: In these 14 years, I have married Lee Ha-jung, former MBC host Naeun-sama, and have two children (son: Ji-hyun,
I'm now a father to Jung Si-wook (11 years old) and daughter Jung Yu-dam (9 years old). Q. When you come to Japan, is there anything you always eat, and is there anything you want to eat this time?
Jung Junho: Warm soba noodles, puffer fish dishes, ramen, fried chicken, sushi, etc. I'll definitely eat them this time too (laughs).
Q. JUNHO is a busy man, but please tell us about your recent activities in Korea.
Jung Junho: The movie "Hitman 2" was recently released and is currently the biggest hit movie in Korea, with over 2.56 million moviegoers.
He also appeared on the YouTube talk show "Shin Dong-yup's Chang Han-hyung," where he became a hot topic, and is also appearing in a commercial for "Hyundai Rental Care."
Q. JUNHO, what are your favorite spots in Korea that you would recommend to your Japanese fans?
Jung Junho: It is a temple called Chingwangsa in Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul. I am the head of the public relations department of the temple.
It is a famous temple that is often visited by dignitaries from various countries, especially first ladies, when state guests visit Korea. The head priest is Bobesunim.
If you come, please check it out! Q. What is your impression of Japanese fans, Junho? Jung Junho: They are very polite and have warm smiles. (I always like the fans.)
Q. The title of the fan meeting is "Always." What kind of thoughts are put into it? Jung Junho:
It conveys the message that everyone, including me, should always smile, always feel happy, and live happily and energetically wherever we are.
Q. After the Fan Meeting, there will be a High Five for all participants, which Japanese fans are really looking forward to.
Is there anything that you would like to do with your Japanese fans? Jung Junho: I'm so happy, I feel like I want to hug each and every one of my Japanese fans (laughs).
Q. I'm looking forward to it (laughs). What kind of fan meeting do you think this one will be? Will we be able to hear JUNHO's song?
Jung Junho: I want to talk to you all a lot in a family-like atmosphere. Also, Korean singers Na Hoon-ah and Jo Ha
I'm thinking of singing Taiwanese singer Teresa Teng's "The Moon Represents My Heart". Q. Are there any Japanese fans who are looking forward to meeting JUNHO at the fan meeting for the first time in 14 years?
