On the 19th, Taiwanese media ETtoday reported that Kim Soo-hyo will be attending an event hosted by Seven-Eleven in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, to mark the cherry blossom season starting on the 19th.
Before the problem arose, Kim Soo-hyeon had visited Taiwan to discuss the project. Seven-Eleven stores had Kim Soo-hyeon's face printed on them.
The company plans to release three types of products, including food, coffee cups, and cup sleeves, on the same day. However, the Kim Soohyeon issue has grown, and Seven-Eleven is worried.
According to the media, it is highly unlikely that Kim Soo-hyeon will visit Taiwan. Last year, more than 60,000 fans gathered at the Kaohsiung Cherry Blossom Festival.
This year's event will feature superstars from Taiwan, Japan, Korea and Hong Kong, including Kim Soohyeon and Kumi Koda.
The performance was scheduled to last for about 40 minutes on the final day of the festival. As it was a big event, Kim Soohyeon's penalty was 30 million Taiwanese dollars (1,322,700,000 won, about 1,000,000 yen).
Meanwhile, Kim Soo-hyeon has recently been under fire for her alleged relationship with the late Kim Sae Ron since they were underage.
In response to this, she has been cut off one after another by brands for which she was working as an advertising model.
