A passenger plane operated by the Korean low-cost carrier Jin Air, en route from Gimpo Airport to Pohang and Gyeongju, was pulled over due to problems with its altimeter and speed indicator.
According to Jin Air on the 21st, Jin Air flight LJ659, which departed from Seoul Gimpo Airport at 9 a.m., decided to turn back after abnormal messages were displayed on the altimeter and speedometer.
The plane landed at Gimpo Airport at 10 a.m. There were 42 passengers on board at the time, but no one was reportedly injured.
A Jin Air official said, "The aircraft that was turned back is currently being inspected," and "An alternative flight is being arranged."
