Coinbase becomes Ethereum's largest node operator, with 11% of staked ETH
Coinbase has become the largest node operator on the Ethereum network, holding 11.42% of the total staked Ethereum (ETH).
According to Cointelegraph on the 20th (local time), Coinbase will hold 11.42% of the total staked ETH as of March 3, 2024.
Coinbase revealed that it holds 3.84 million ETH, equivalent to about $6.8 billion (about 1.154 trillion yen), on the Ethereum network.
Taking the test, the company recorded a 99.75% uptime, outperforming the network average.

Sassano noted that Coinbase's staking ratio makes it the largest node operator in the network.
"Its competitor, Lido, holds even more ETH, but each node operator has a much smaller stake."
Coinbase also revealed that the validator's uptime exceeded the target.
