Strategy founder hints at buying more Bitcoin after fundraising closes

The co-founder of Strategy has hinted at buying more Bitcoin after recently raising additional capital.

el Saylor shared a Bitcoin chart on X with the humorous phrase "We need more oranges." This comes a day after traditional financial markets reopened.
According to SailorTracker, the strategy's most recent Bitcoin purchase was worth $107 million on March 17.
The strategy's total holdings now total 499,226 BTC.
Strategy bought Bitcoin for 12 consecutive weeks from November 2024 to January 2025, but has recently adjusted the pace of its purchases.
The size of the purchase on March 17 was one of the smallest in the strategy's history and came after a two-week buying hiatus.
