Chief of Staff Romeo Browner's visit to the Joint Chiefs of Staff comes on the occasion of his attendance at the handover and launching ceremony of the Philippine Navy's first and second patrol ships, which will be held in Ulsan on the 27th.
The two sides agreed in October last year to continue to strengthen their defense capabilities by expanding cooperation in the military and defense industry fields while maintaining the momentum for upgrading the "strategic partnership" between the two countries.
