Man suspected of indecent assault on minor stabs himself in the neck (South Korea)

On the 4th, the Gyeonggi Northern Police Agency in South Korea reported that a man in his 20s, who is suspected of indecent assault against a minor, was arrested at around 7:50 a.m. in Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province.
While police were executing an arrest warrant at his home in Namyangju, he stabbed himself in the neck with a knife. He was given first aid by police officers and taken to the hospital, but it was determined that his life was not in danger.
Mr. A is suspected of committing several acts of indecent assault on a victim under the age of 10 whom he was teaching early last year while working as a private tutor.
Police plan to execute the arrest warrant again as Mr. A recovers.
