"Flowers Blooming in the Night" is a romantic comedy action period drama about a widow who loses her husband just before her wedding and her servant.
Jo Yoh-hwa is a widow who was supposed to marry into a noble Korean yangban family, but her husband died just before her engagement.
She leads a double life, spending her time quietly in the office and saving people in need at night by donning a mask. She will be played by Lee Han-i, known for her roles in "The Fiery Priest" and "Rebel: People's Hero Hong-ki."
Meanwhile, Park Soo-ho, a young officer at the Imperial Guard with excellent martial arts skills and good looks, will be played by Lee Jung-won, an actor who gained attention for his lead role in "Drunken Romance."
One night, Yohwa sneaks into a gambling hall to save a girl and accidentally encounters Suho. There, he discovers that she is a woman. How will the fate of the two develop after this encounter?
