Actor Lee Je Hoon successfully completes 'Whiplash' GV... ”If I were to make a film, I would like to borrow your editing skills”
Actor Lee Je Hoon expressed his feelings as a fan for Whiplash. The film Whiplash was released on the 25th at Megabox in Seoul.
He held a GV with actor Lee Je Hoon and Movement CEO Jin Myung Hyun at the COEX Dolby Cinema.
Lee Je Hoon said, "I was so moved when I saw 'Whiplash' 10 years ago that I watched it three times at the cinema to relive those feelings.
However, I was happy to have the opportunity to see it again in the theater to commemorate the 10th anniversary," he said, kicking off the event.
Lee Je Hoon, who revealed that he is such a big movie fan that he watched "Whiplash" again at the same theater the day before the event, showed off the "Whiplash" DVD from his collection on the day.
He further heated up the atmosphere by preparing an event to give presents directly to the audience.
"Whiplash" was released in Dolby Atmos format only in Korea to commemorate its 10th anniversary, with fans saying, "I'm glad I was able to watch it in Dolby Atmos sound."
Lee Je Hoon also commented, "After watching this movie, I became obsessed with the actor Miles Teller.
Before Whiplash, he didn't have a very extensive filmography,
It's good to see him continue to build his career well. J.K. Simmons is the man who could give Fletcher a stronger role as a mentor than any other character in this movie.
He also did not forget to praise the acting of the two actors, saying, "When I asked him, 'Do you remember it?' It's been 10 years, but it's still hard to remember."
He also said, "What I felt after watching the film was that the editing was excellent.
The editing method of cutting out New York buildings along with the music at the beginning is also sophisticated, and the editing of taking small cuts of the performance is very
It's very rhythmic. So I was happy when I won the Academy Award for Best Editing. If I were to make a movie, I would like to borrow the editing sense of this movie.
"When I heard Ding's drum solo, I thought to myself, "I've never felt such joy while watching a movie, and I just thought the madness of the two characters had gotten even crazier."
The director also praised the film. "Whiplash" is a legendary music film that depicts the obsession and madness of Andrew, a student who dreams of becoming the best TV series, and Fletcher, a professor who pursues perfection.
The film is currently being shown in Korea to rave reviews.
