According to The Block, Revolut, a London-based fintech unicorn, has announced that it will launch a new blockchain-based blockchain platform in the UK and 30 European Economic Area (EEA) countries.
In a press release issued on the same day, Revolut announced that it has launched RevolutX, a cryptocurrency exchange app available to users in the region.
The company said its account holders can trade over 400 crypto trading pairs and over 220 digital tokens through the mobile app.
Revolute first announced the desktop version of its standalone digital asset trading platform, RevoluteX, in November last year.
Volute has over 45 million users worldwide and is valued at $45 billion.
RevoluteX was originally launched as a standalone cryptocurrency exchange in November 2024, but
Initially it was only open to professional traders, but the policy change means that all Revolute account holders in the UK and EEA can now use the mobile app.
The exchange is now available.
