This was followed by Germany's BMW (720,472 units), Germany's Audi (233,140 units), Germany's Volkswagen (VW, 212,775 units), and Lexus (144,000 units).
In commercial vehicles, Sweden's Volvo Trucks recorded the largest number of units with 18,123 units, followed by Sweden's Scania (11,570 units) and Mercedes-Benz (105 units).
These include Mercedes-Benz (10,980 units), Germany's MAN Truck & Bus (9,579 units), and Isuzu (2,863 units).
In terms of vehicle age, approximately 79.8% were less than 10 years old. Breaking this down, 41.8% were less than 5 years old, and 5.0% were more than 5 years old.
38.0% of vehicles were less than 10 years old. Gyeonggi-do had the most registered vehicles in use in Korea with 939,163, followed by Seoul with 683,768, and Seoul with 37,236.
Incheon followed with 07,703 units, and Busan with 292,769 units.
