China's state-owned enterprises' total profits up 0.1% in January-February from a year earlier: Chinese report

The Ministry of Finance of China announced the economic management status of state-owned enterprises and state-holding enterprises (hereinafter referred to as SOEs) across China for January and February of this year.
According to publicly available data, the total operating income of state-owned enterprises in January and February was down 0.
Specifically, total operating income decreased 0.3% to 12,487,340 million yen (approximately 259 trillion yen), while total profits increased 0.1% to 625,500 million yen.
During the same period, state-owned enterprises paid 1,112,730 million former (approximately 23 trillion yen) in taxes, up 0.6% from the previous year.
As of the end of February, the asset-liability ratio of state-owned enterprises was 64.9%, up 0.1 percentage point.
