The Korean Red Cross Society (Chairman Kim Cheol-soo), a statutory disaster management and relief organization, announced on the 29th that One Hundred Label has donated 500 million won to support the victims of the wildfires and their recovery.
In response, One Hundred Label expressed their “deepest sympathy to those who are suffering from the sudden disaster, and we sincerely hope for their speedy recovery,” and “our deepest gratitude to all those who are working hard to restore the disaster site even at this very moment. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all those who are working hard to restore the disaster site at this very moment.”
One Hundred Label has been practicing social responsibility through its steady donation activities. In particular, the label released a special winter single “The Last Christmas” at the end of last year and announced that it would donate the proceeds to children suffering from rare and incurable diseases through the Korean Red Cross Society.
Kim Cheol-soo, chairman of the Korean Red Cross, said, “This donation incorporates One Hundred Label's warm feelings to support the residents of the affected areas who are experiencing difficulties due to the sudden disaster and those who are dedicating themselves to the recovery efforts,” adding, “The Red Cross will also do its best to continue the donors' precious sincerity in the field to ensure the continuation of relief efforts. The Red Cross will do its best in the relief efforts until the very end,” he added, expressing his gratitude to the donors.
The donation will be used to restore the areas affected by the wildfires in Gyeongsangbuk-do, Gyeongsangnamdo, and Ulsan, as well as to support the victims.
