aespa wins Group of the Year at Billboard's Women in Music 2025 awards in the US
Korean girl group aespa won the “Billboard's Women in Music 2025” award along with JENNIE (BLACKPINK) and Kim Hyun-jung, former creative director of HYBE's BTS.

Billboard's Women in Music 2025, which selects and honors female artists, creators, producers, and executives who have had a significant impact on the music industry this year, was held at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles, California, on the 29th (local time). aespa, which had three consecutive hits last year with ‘Supernova,’ ‘Armageddon,’ and ‘Whiplash,’ won the ‘Group of the Year’ award. Billboard said, “K-pop supergroup ‘aespa’ was recognized for its groundbreaking achievements and global influence."

JENNIE, who also received the Global Force Award, commented, “I am honored and proud to receive this award in a place filled with beautiful women who inspire me." Meanwhile, other K-pop singers who received awards at the ceremony include “TWICE,” which won the Breakthrough Artist award in 2023, and “NewJeans,” which won the Group of the Year award in 2024.
