The manufacturing PMI was down 0.3 points to 49.6, below 50. The five sub-indices that make up the manufacturing PMI were the production index, up 0.1 points to 52.6, the new orders index, up 0.7 points to 53.6, and the manufacturing PMI index, up 0.7 points to 54.6.
The supplier delivery time index increased by 0.7 points to 51.8, and the supplier delivery time index decreased by 0.7 points to 50.3, both of which were above 50.
The raw materials inventory ratio index increased by 0.2 points to 47.2, and the employee index increased by 0.4 points.
The non-manufacturing PMI, which covers the construction and service industries, rose 0.4 points from the previous month to 50.8.
The PMI rose 0.7 points to 53.4, while the services sector PMI rose 0.3 points to 50.3.
