On the 3rd, the organizing committee of "Music Park 2025" officially announced that MONSTA X member Hyungwon has confirmed his appearance. Hyungwon enlisted on November 14, 2023 and is currently serving as an active duty soldier in the army.
He is currently faithfully fulfilling his military duties. He is scheduled to discharge on May 13th, and has already announced his appearance at ASEA 2025, raising expectations for his active activities after the discharge.
Hyungwon will be the MC for the second day of the awards ceremony (May 29th) along with actor Kim Hye Yoon and "THE BOYZ" member Yonghoon.
Hyungwon was the first to be negotiated as an MC for ASEA 2025, but the announcement was delayed due to his current military service.
Hyungwon, who debuted in the music industry as a member of "X", has been attracting attention for his excellent live performances and producing skills.
Together with group leader Shownu, he formed the group "Shownu x Hyungwon" to broaden his musical horizons. In addition to his singing career, he also works in acting, variety shows, MCing, and DJing.
Having continued to engage in a wide range of activities including H.ONE, he is sure to have an overwhelming presence at ASEA 2025.
The group is also planning to resume activities as a full group. Hyungwon will be reuniting with Shownu, Minhyuk, and Kihee on the day after Discharge (May 14th).
With Jung, Joohyun and IM, the long-awaited 10th anniversary of the debut of "MONSTA X" will be celebrated. "ASEA 2025" is scheduled to be held at K Arena Yokohama on May 28-29.
