Actor Lee Seung Gi wins lawsuit against HOOK for settlement of debt... Court orders HOOK to pay 60 million yen

The court took Lee Seung Gi's hand. On the 4th, the 20th Civil Division of the Seoul Central District Court ruled that HOOK Entertainment (now Chorokbaem Entertainment) had taken Lee Seung Gi's hand.
The court set a date for the judgment in the lawsuit filed against the company to determine the non-existence of the debt.
On that day, the court said, "Chorokbaem paid Lee Seung Gi 581,377,421
The court ruled that the plaintiff should pay the defendant 1,000 won (approximately 60 million yen) plus late interest, and dismiss all of Chorokbaem's remaining claims for compensation and return of the goods.
The court had initially scheduled a sentencing hearing for January 17, but canceled the scheduled hearing and resumed arguments on the 7th of last month.
Lee Seung Gi received only the fee and the trial was completed quickly, with the sentencing date set for April 4th. Lee Seung Gi will receive his music revenue settlement from management office HOOK Entertainment in November 2023.
HOOK Entertainment paid a total of 5.4 billion won and then filed a lawsuit to confirm the non-existence of the debt.
HOOK Entertainment claimed that they paid more than the actual amount for advertising activities and that they should return 900 million won. In response, Lee Seung Gi demanded a refund of 3 billion won.
They countered that the money should be received as it was.
