Lee So-ri added, "After I left the company, I was naturally preparing for a child, but I was diagnosed with cancer at five months old. Due to the nature of cancer in women,
I feel so sorry for my parents and my husband's parents for not being able to have children and for not being able to protect my health. The nature of the cancer was not good, so I thought I would have to live another year, or three years.
"I had surgery and cytotoxic anti-cancer treatment for six months, and I had to be careful when going out.
I couldn't eat normal food, I vomited every day, I became thin, my skin broke, my hair fell out, I was in and out of the emergency room, and I endured a really difficult time," he said, adding, "I'm still taking medication and undergoing treatment."
"Because of this, I have not been able to have children, and that situation continues to this day," she said. "Every time I have a checkup, I ask, 'Can I have children?' but the doctor says,
"My mother's health comes first," he said. "There is still a lot of time left until she is fully recovered, so she is still undergoing cancer treatment."
