JYP donates 300 million won to Myanmar earthquake victims

JYP Entertainment has extended a helping hand to Myanmar, which has been hit by an earthquake. On the 9th, the international NGO World Vision announced that JYP Entertainment has extended a helping hand to Myanmar, which has been hit by an earthquake.
The company donated 300 million won (approximately 30 million yen) to help with emergency relief efforts for earthquake victims and to support medical expenses for children. The donation will be used to help Mandalay, which was hit hard by the devastating earthquake that hit Myanmar in March.
The funds will be used to provide emergency food and daily necessities, drinking water, sanitation, medical expenses for children, and psychological support to 11 towns and villages in Leh state.
JYP Entertainment said, "We would like to express our sincere condolences to those who lost their lives in the earthquake and their families, and to those who lost their livelihoods in an instant.
We would like to express our deepest condolences to all those affected, and we hope that through assistance with medical expenses, the children and their families will be able to recover from this disaster as soon as possible and return to their normal lives and health."
Previously, JYP Entertainment donated 500 million won (approximately 47 million yen) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus in 2020 and 100 million won (approximately 47 million yen) to Gangwon Kyungbok in 2022.
300 million won (approx. JPY 30 million) to support the forest fire victims in the Gyeongbuk region, and 500 million won (approx. JPY 50 million) to support children and local residents affected by the Turkey-Syria earthquake in 2023.
They each donated 500 million won (approximately 50 million yen) to support children and victims affected by the devastating forest fires that occurred in the Gyeongnam and Gyeongbok regions in March of this year.
JYP Entertainment has systemized its CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) activities and launched the "EDM (Every Dream)" project to give back to society the support and love it has received from its fans and the public.
