The two companies have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU). The company will develop language education content that can be used with XR devices, including Apple's 3D camera "Vision Pro."
The aim is to develop a platform for learning English that is based on the curriculum of American schools. Conto Education will provide its own English education content, which is based on the curriculum of American schools. Meanwhile, Stoic will provide the content through XR and artificial intelligence (AI) teaching materials.
Users will be able to use their avatars to receive two-way English education through machine learning in each augmented reality (AR) space that recreates an English-speaking environment in the United States.
To increase the realism of the avatars, they will be developed to not only match speech with mouth shapes, but also take into account facial muscle movements.
"You can learn English as if you were in the real world and gain background knowledge," said Choi Joon-Hee, director of Conte Education.
" The two companies believe that XR English education content can be used not only in Korea but also overseas, including in China.
