”Even after six years in prison, he committed another sex crime”... Seven years in prison for repeat offender in his 30s = South Korea

Prosecutors sought a seven-year prison sentence for a man in his 30s who committed another sex crime, despite having served a six-year sentence for sexual assault.
The prosecution demanded a seven-year prison sentence at the closing hearing of Defendant A, which was held at the Busan District Court on the afternoon of the 16th.
The court is scheduled to make a ruling on the case on the 30th. Defendant A was indicted on suspicion of violating the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Violence Crimes (threatening to use footage, etc.). Defendant A was arrested in August 2020.
He is accused of photographing the victim's body without her consent six times between now and April 2022, and providing the photographed material to the victim 14 times.
It was discovered that Defendant A had a history of serving time in prison for a similar offence in the past.
Defendant A also committed a sexual assault crime in a university dormitory in 2013.
He was put on trial for allegedly breaking into a female student dormitory at a university where he was staying and sexually assaulting the victim. In February 2014, the court sentenced Defendant A to six years in prison and required him to complete 120 hours of sexual assault treatment.
The revision confirmed that the information disclosure and notification period was six years.
