IU reveals a touching story about Park BoGum, who co-starred with her in ”Thank You”... ”I scolded a child actor who used slang”

Actor IU revealed the heartwarming story of Park BoGum. On the 18th, IU appeared on the YouTube channel "Baek Eun-ha's Conversation."
Regarding Park Bo-Gum, with whom she teamed up for the Netflix original series "Thank You for the Good Work," IU said, "He's a good person, but he's also a very clear-minded person."
"He was always making the right decisions, and as a friend of the same age, I felt that way," she said. "Even when he was in a difficult situation, he always told me, 'It's okay,' and made everyone feel at ease with his smile.
She said, "I saw one child actor speak without laughing, without even knowing what the words were.
"At one point, he said a slang word that he had heard somewhere and memorized," he said, "and then Bo-gum grabbed the boy's shoulder and said, 'Promise me you won't use that word again.'"
IU said, "I saw him acting like that as an adult and in his role, and I thought, 'That's great.'"
"He made a promise right away. So I thought, 'Park BoGum, you have clear ideas. It's good to be clear,'" he said, "It seems like he's a very strict person."
She continued, "I also asked a lot of questions to Bo-gum, in a relaxed manner," and "I asked him a lot of questions like, 'What did you think? How was it?'
"Instead of giving easy-to-listen-to answers, he says things that are helpful," he said. He went on to reveal that they filmed "Thank You for Your Hard Work" by discussing and relying on each other.
The Netflix original series "Thank You" is about a "smart and rebellious" girl named Ae-seung, born in Jeju, and a "foolishly honest and iron-clad young man named Jung-soo."
The film depicts the adventures of Gwang-sik's life through the four seasons, and has been well-received both in Korea and abroad since its recent release. IU plays two roles, Ae-seung and her daughter Geum-myung.
Bo-gum played the role of Gwang-sik.
