Police have launched an investigation into a series of recent cases of Chinese nationals taking unauthorized photographs of fighter jets near air force bases.

A and the others were arrested at around 9 a.m. on the same day at the US military facility in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province.
He is suspected of taking unauthorized photographs of fighter jets near Osan Air Base in Pyeongtaek City. According to the police, they are investigating the exact incident in cooperation with the National Intelligence Service, the Defense Intelligence Command, and other related agencies.
The police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. The police explained that the charges against the Communist Party have not been made clear so far. Prior to this, on the 21st of last month, a shooting occurred near the 10th Fighter Wing of the Air Force in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province.
Two people, including a teenager named B, of Chinese nationality, were arrested for taking unauthorized photographs of fighter jets. It was revealed that the crime was committed using a DSLR camera and a mobile phone. B and his accomplices have also taken unauthorized photographs of fighter jets at Osan Air Base in the past.
The suspect has been accused of taking unauthorized photographs of four US and South Korean military facilities, including the US military base in Pyeongtaek and the Cheongju Air Base, and three major international airports, including Incheon, Gimpo, and Jeju.
During police questioning, Mr. B stated, "I am attending high school in China and entered the country with the permission of my school," and "I usually have a hobby of taking pictures of fighter jets."
Police have obtained a statement from the police that the father of one of the children is a Chinese police officer, and are officially investigating the case.
