The production team of the drama (Raylist) has released stills cuts of Ma Joo Ah (Park Hae Soo) and Cha Min Ho (Jaehyun) in the rain. In the released photos, they are seen on a rainy campus at night, under an umbrella.
The photo of Park Hae-soo and Jaehyun, standing so close that you can practically hear their heartbeats, is drawing attention. Ma Joo-ah is not in her usual mischievous state, but instead is completely soaked in the rain.
The next photo shows the moment when the two of them are sitting opposite each other and there is a silence that is heavier than conversation.
The faces of the two men, illuminated from below, are filled with sadness, confusion, and complex emotions towards each other. Previously, in EP2, Cha Min-ho revealed that both of his parents had passed away.
On the 21st broadcast, Cha Min-ho's hidden scars that he had been hiding behind his smile were revealed, drawing attention. "Dear.M" is his first work in four years, so it's gathering even more attention.
"Dear.M" was scheduled to premiere in February 2021 on KBS2, but the lead actress Park Hae-soo was accused of school violence, leading to the postponement of the premiere.
"We are postponing the premiere in order to thoroughly review the recent cases involving the cast members and to reconsider the completeness of the show."
