Director Hirokazu Koreeda holds special exhibition in Korea... reunite with Song Kang Ho, Lee Dong Hwi, and Lee Juyeon

Japanese film master Hirokazu Koreeda will make a surprise visit to Korea to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the opening of the art cinema Cinecube. Director Koreeda will participate in the "Hirokazu Koreeda Special Exhibition: 25 Years of Koreeda and His Journey" and
A talk event will be held with special guests. t.cast, which operates Cinecube, will hold the "Special Exhibition: Hirokazu Koreeda and 25 Years of Journey with Koreeda" to promote the arts group with the longest history in Japan.
To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the opening of the Cinecube movie theater, a meaningful event has been created where viewers can look back on the filmography of master director Koreeda Hirokazu, who has worked with Cinecube for 25 years.
Starting with "Like Father, Like Son," he has worked on six of Koreeda's films, including "Our Little Sister," "Deeper Than the Sea," "The Third Murder," "Shoplifters," and "The Truth."
This event will not only allow the special relationship between the film and t.cast and Cinecube, who imported and distributed the film, but also reaffirm the affection of Korean audiences for director Hirokazu Koreeda, who has attracted the largest audience at Cinecube for the past 25 years.
In response, director Hirokazu Koreeda will be in Korea from Tuesday, the 29th of this month to Thursday, May 1st to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the opening of Cinecube, and will be meeting audiences.
At the "Special Talk" held at Cinecube, actor Lee DongHwi, who worked with him on the movie "Baby Broker," will appear as a special guest.
With the theme of "Reason," he will talk with director Koreeda Hirokazu about theaters and art cinemas, and interact with the audience who have come to the venue.
Next up, on the 30th at 8pm, Cinecube will be showing "Us" and "Our House".
Director Yoon Ga-eun, who has been praised at the world's leading film festivals, will meet with director Hirokazu Koreeda. This year marks the 30th anniversary of Hirokazu Koreeda's debut as a feature film director, and the two will intensively explore his directing theory and the world of his work.
He plans to hold a frank discussion with the audience, including students majoring in film. After the screening of "Shoplifters" on May 1, the following day, at 2:50 p.m., the Cinema Talk will feature "Baby Blow"
The cast will include actor Song Kang-ho, who was the first Korean actor to win the Best Actor award at the Cannes Film Festival for his role in "Car," and actress Lee Ju-yeon, who also gave an impressive performance in "Baby Broker."
The talk will be moderated by Kim Se-yoon, a composer of the MBC FM movie music program. The talk will feature the Cannes Film Festival Palme d'Or-winning film "Shoplifters," which is considered the quintessence of Kore-eda's films.
It is expected that a wide range of interesting and varied discussions will take place about Director Koreeda's various works.
