Trump Media is considering introducing a cryptocurrency wallet and tokens to its streaming service.
Trump Media & Technology Group, a social media company backed by President Donald Trump, has announced in a shareholder letter that it will suspend the sale of its streaming service, Truth+.
"The company is exploring ways to introduce a cryptocurrency wallet and utility token to its platform," said Devin Nunes, CEO of Trump Media.
Nunes said, "We are currently considering introducing a utility token that can be used to pay for Truth+ subscription fees through the Truth Digital Wallet.

The initiative will be part of a rewards program that Trump Media is promoting across its platforms, including Yahoo! Social, Truth.Fi, and others.
The move hinted at plans to develop a payment method, with the company filing trademark applications at the time for software-related features including digital wallet, asset trading and settlement functionality on its Truth.Fi platform.
Truth+, which launched in October 2024, is a streaming service offering movies and shows aimed primarily at conservative audiences. Trump Media is also a subsidiary of cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.
