The story follows director Jeong-rok (Yoo Hae-jin) and In-beom (Lee Je-hoon), an employee at a global investment firm who only pursues results, as they gamble on the fate of Korea's national soju.
Yoo Hae-jin and Lee Ji-hoon will play the roles of Seo Jung-rok, the financial director of the National Bo Group in "The Company is Life," and Globetrotter in "Work is Work, Life is Life."
The two actors co-star as Choi In-beom, an employee of a large investment company. The two characters are completely different in their attitudes towards the company, their thoughts and goals. However, as seen in the stills of the drinking party, the two men are united by the medium of soju.
As they drink, the two gradually become closer. In the beginning of the film, In-beom appears completely unaware of the taste of soju, a drink beloved by Koreans.
As a result, she has no idea about Jung-rok's love for soju or his daily routine of having a drink with his colleagues after work.
Hiding his ambition to get his hands on Kokubo Soju, In approached Jung Rok as if he could solve the crisis facing the Kokubo Group.
As time passes, Inbeom gradually becomes more and more like Jungrok, just like someone who is drunk on soju.
As Lee Je Hoon said, "You will begin to enjoy soju" and as Inbeom discovers soju while drinking with Jungrok, he undergoes a change when he sees Jungrok's passionate and sincere feelings towards the company.
"Soju War," which depicts the first meeting between national actor Yoo Hae-jin and exemplary actor Lee Je-hoon, will be released in Korea on June 3rd.
