Strong winds of over 25 meters per second, comparable to that of a typhoon, are blowing at Jeju International Airport in South Korea, causing disruptions to flights, including the cancellation of arrival and departure flights.
According to the Jeju Regional Meteorological Administration on the 3rd, as of 9 am, a "strong wind warning" was issued for the northern part of Cheju Island, and for mountainous areas.

Jeju International Airport has been issued a strong wind warning and a sudden change in wind conditions for both takeoff and landing, causing delays and cancellations for some flights.
The Korea Meteorological Administration said, "Very strong winds with instantaneous wind speeds of over 20 meters per second are expected to blow until late afternoon on Chuja Island, and until dawn on the 4th in the mountainous, mid-mountainous and northern areas of Cheju Island."
