At the awards ceremony, Cho Jung Seok won the Best Male Award in the film category. Other nominees included Hyun Bin from "Harbin," Cho Jung Seok from "Pilot," Lee Hee Jun from "Handsome Guys," and Lee Hye Joon from "Winning."
The winners were Lee Byung Hun for "Negative" and Yoon Ju Sang for "Morning Sea, Seagulls." Cho Jung Seok said, "I wanted to win an award. I didn't have any expectations. It's all going to be a blank slate."
Cho Jung Seok then expressed his gratitude to the production crew and actors who worked with him on the pilot, saying, "I never thought I'd receive an award, but it feels really strange to receive one.
To be honest, this piece was a challenge for me. I wondered if I could do it well. Anyone would see that I have shoulders, so I was a bit worried and thought it was a reckless challenge.
I approached the filming with this mindset, and worked hard with my colleagues, trusting each other, and I'm grateful that it wasn't a reckless challenge and was recognized."
Cho Jung Seok also expressed his gratitude to his family. He said, "I love Gummy and my daughter," and added, "I will continue to take on new challenges as an actor."
