According to the Korean Ministry of Justice (equivalent to the Ministry of Justice in Japan), the passing rate for the 14th Bar Examination held this year was 52.28%, down from 52.28% last year.
Of the 3,336 applicants, 1,744 were accepted. Despite the decline in the overall pass rate, Chung-Ang University's pass rate of 73.2% placed it third in the nation after Seoul National University and Korea University.
This is a one-step improvement from the previous year (4th place). Chuo University Law School said, "In 2024, we will be ranked 4th in the nation with a pass rate of 69.4%, and in 2023, we will be ranked 4th in the 12th Bar Examination."
"The Chung-Ang University Law School has maintained a high pass rate for three consecutive years, and all current students who took the exam passed," said Lee Jeong Hoon, dean of Chung-Ang University Law School.
The graduate school will provide an educational environment that will help students concentrate better on their studies."
