Recently, A's daughter was in the elevator of her apartment building on her way home after finishing cram school. There was also a woman in her 20s, Ms. B, and a boy in the elevator. However, the boy got off first.
After that, Mr. B suddenly started hitting Mr. A's daughter. The CCTV (security camera) in the elevator clearly showed Mr. B throwing the girl to the floor, kicking her with his feet, and punching her with his fists.
The girl tried to escape when the elevator doors opened, but Mr. B continued to assault her, grabbing her by the hair and throwing her again.
Ms. A said, "When my child came home from cram school, he was crying. He was shaking and I thought something was wrong.
"I went to the front door and the woman was standing there," he said. "I asked her, 'What are you doing?' and she ran away." The girl finally said, "My sister hit me," after double-locking the door.
She started crying and said she was scared. The girl had bruises all over her body, and her hair had fallen out, exposing her scalp. The hospital recommended that she be hospitalized if she was in severe pain or anxious.
According to Mr. and Mrs. A, one time when the girl was eating ice cream with her friends in the park, Mr. B asked for ice cream. However, the girl refused.
However, Mr. B, who remembered the incident, met the girl in the elevator and assaulted her. What was even more shocking was the attitude of Mr. B's father. When I went to tell him about my daughter's experience, Mr. B's father said, "(
Mr. B) was in a juvenile detention center last year, but he was told to leave because he had an intellectual disability," he said. "There's nothing I can do about it. I can't live with my daughter. I've given up."
Mr. B's father then called the police and asked, "If an accident occurs, shouldn't the police take him in and investigate?" and "Am I supposed to put him in a facility?"
Mr. B's family had similar problems in their previous residence and moved to their current residence. They tried to hospitalize him, but the hospital recommended that he be discharged after a few days.
This has been repeated and Mr. B's father is said to be in a state of psychological exhaustion.
