"(The June 3 presidential election) is a sacred war to stop candidate Lee's 'national disruption' that will make the country itself difficult," he said.
At the meeting, Kim said, "We will definitely correct the act of national subversion (by candidate Lee) with a righteous attitude."
"The party's 'bulletproof legislation' to remove Lee's crimes (legislation to prevent attacks from the government and ruling party) is going too far," he said. "If Lee becomes president, his own crimes will be covered up."
"It is clear that the judiciary will erase the government's actions," Kim said. "The judiciary is not a servant of political power. As the last bastion of free democracy, the independence and neutrality of the judiciary cannot be tolerated under any circumstances.
"Power concentrated in one person always has an inherently unfortunate outcome," said Kim, adding, "The most anti-democratic enemy, advancing to higher places and farther from people, is North Korea.
This is called dictatorship," he explained. Candidate Kim added, "I will impeach the prosecutors who investigated candidate Lee, and I will also impeach the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court who sentenced candidate Lee."
"Has there ever been a dictator like this?" he continued, "If we are not going to punish such a person, then why do we need politics and why do we cry about democracy?"
