SHINee to release new song ”Poet|Artist” written and composed by the late Jong Hyun on the 25th

SHINee has taken a step forward as ‘artists’ with their new single 'Poet|Artist'.

SHINee's new single 'Poet|Artist' consists of the title track 'Poet|Artist' and the track 'Starlight', and will be released on all music sites at midnight on May 25th, the anniversary of SHINee's debut.

The title track 'Poet|Artist' is an electro-pop genre song that harmonizes the song's main theme of vocal reef with an attacking snare and reggae rhythm, and was written for “SHINee” by the late Jung Hyun, who also participated in its composition. The lyrics contain the message that as a poet and artist, he applied his literary and poetic tolerance not only to works of art but also to everyday life, breaking boundaries and creating something new together.

Meanwhile, 'SHINee's' single 'Poet|Artist' will also be released as a CD album on May 26th, and pre-orders will begin today (May 19th) at various on- and offline stores.
