Soccer player Son Heung-min wins his first ever cup...with his best friend Park Seo Jun by his side

Tottenham Hotspur FC's captain Son Heung-min has finally broken free of his crown. And by his side was his best friend and actor Park Seo Jun, who was with him.

On the 22nd, Son Heung-min posted a number of photos on his Instagram.

He especially drew attention with actor Park So-joon in the photo taken with his acquaintances. The two are known to be close friends.

Tottenham defeated Manchester United 1-0 in the 2024-25 UEFA Europa League (UEL) final at the San Mames Stadium in Bilbao, Spain, on the morning of March 22 (Japan time).

With the victory, Tottenham lifted the trophy for the first time in 17 years after winning the League Cup in the 2007-08 season and the third time in 41 years since the 1983-84 season that Tottenham, the first team to win the UEFA Cup, the predecessor of the 1971-72 competition, won the competition. Tottenham captain Son Heung-min also won the trophy for the first time since making his professional debut in 2010. According to Transfermarkt, a media outlet specializing in soccer statistics, Son Heung-min has played 619 games since his professional debut. He kissed his first trophy after 454 games for Tottenham alone.

After the match, Son Heung-min said through TNT Sports, “Let's just say I am a legend, just for today,” and expressed how he was enjoying the joy of his first taste of victory.
