NCT's Do Yeong delivers deep consolation with ”Still”... Yoon Do Hyun: ”You expressed it well”
NCT's Do Yeong delivers a heavy message of comfort with the song "Still" from his second album. The song features lyrical piano, heavy strings, and a modern band sound.
A deep-sounding pop rock number, it depicts the process of people who are lost between reality and their ideals, quietly finding their true selves.
The song was written and composed by legendary artist Yoon Do Hyun, and Do Yeong's deep vocals and sensibility add to the perfection of the song.
Also, on the 24th, the recording behind-the-scenes video "Soar Diary -
page.1" features footage of Do Yeong and Yoon Do Hyun working together on the project, as well as a candid interview with the two.
Yoon Do Hyun said, "I wrote 'Still' when I was desperately hoping for my mind to be calm and peaceful, but I was going through a difficult time inside.
"Music is a great source of strength, so I wrote this song when I was trying to overcome a difficult situation on my own, and I thought it would suit Do Yeong very well if he sang it, so I decided to give it to him as a gift."
He continued, "I'm happy that Do Yeong was able to express the lonely atmosphere well," and "When I see him working hard, I see that he's someone who will have a long run and is already a complete singer, so
"He's someone who people look forward to no matter what kind of music he does." Do Yeong's second album "Soar," to be released on June 9, will feature 10 songs, including the title track "Memory."
