According to the Cyber Investigation Team of the Gyeonggi Nambu National Police Agency, at 10:51 a.m. on the same day, a message was posted on the anonymous college student community "Everytime" that read, "If you stab Lee Jae-myung with a knife today, you will be offered money."
"Everytime" is a university where students can join and participate after going through a process of verifying that they are enrolled in the school through their student ID card or other means.
It is a live anonymous community. The message was posted nine minutes before Lee Jae-myung visited Ajou University. Lee Jae-myung met with university students at Ajou University from 11 a.m. on the same day,
The plan was to hold a meeting to discuss youth policy and other issues. However, it was reported that nothing particularly developed into a commotion that day. The scheduled meeting was postponed to the afternoon, about an hour and 10 minutes later.
The meeting ended without any major issues at around 12:15 a.m., and Lee Jae-myung left the university at around 12:40 p.m. Police received a report about the posting that afternoon and filed a case to identify the poster.
