Former People's Power leader Han Dong-hoon, who campaigned with presidential candidate Kim Moon-soo, said, ”We must clearly distinguish ourselves from the defense of martial law and the conspiracy theory of fraudulent elections” (South Korea)
On the 26th, former People's Power Chairman Han Dong-hoon, who competed with Kim Moon-soo, the ruling party's presidential candidate, in the party's final primary election, said, "In the end, the moderates decided the outcome of this election.
"We will definitely draw a line between the defense of martial law and the conspiracy theory of election fraud," said Han.
"Many people say that (Democratic Party of Korea's) Lee Jae-myung is really no good. Many people who think that Lee is a no-go will ultimately decide the outcome of this election," he said during a campaign event.
Former Chairman Han also raised candidate Kim's hand high and said, "Those people should vote for our candidate Kim Moon-soo."
This was the first time that Han and candidate Kim appeared on the podium together during the presidential election campaign. Han spoke out against candidate Kim, citing his opposition to martial law and the support of former President Yoon Seok-yeol.
After making three demands - cutting ties with his wife and the party, and drawing a line around extremist forces such as the Liberal United Party - he joined candidate Kim's campaign after former President Yoon left the party.
For candidate Kim to win the presidential election, Han stressed that he must expand his support to the moderate demographic.
"Therefore, I believe that we must firmly distance ourselves from the theories defending martial law and conspiracy theories about election fraud, and we must firmly reform the old pro-Yoon Seok-yul politics and move forward on the path to victory. Please believe me when I say it.
"We must stop the dangerous world of candidate Lee," he said. Former Chairman Han also said, "Candidate Lee is not evil and dangerous, but incompetent and dangerous. Let's try to stop the incompetent politics of candidate Lee once and for all."
Former Chairman Han said, "Candidate Lee withdrew the 'Kim Oh-joon Supreme Court Judge Act' today. He ran away because he was scared because everyone was criticizing and watching him. We should fight with a just cause.
Former Chairman Han said, "Candidate Lee's economic policy is 'no-show led growth.' He said, 'The economy will get going if we don't show up to hotels and commit fraud,' and
Regarding the controversy over Lee's "coffee costs 120 won (about 13 yen)" remark, he said, "Candidate Lee is ignoring real people like us who live in the real world.
He sees the coffee as costing 120 won and frames the cafe managers as profit-makers. If Lee is right, we won't need AI (artificial intelligence) and everyone will be able to use it.
"We should open a new store," he said.
