韓国与党「李在明氏が当選すれば、立法府・行政府につづき司法府まで三権を掌握」
South Korea's ruling party: ”If Lee Jae-myung is elected, he will take control of the legislative, executive and judicial branches of government”
On the 26th, Kwon Seong-dong, the joint election strategy committee chairman and floor leader of the ruling People Power Party, said, "Democratic Party of Korea presidential candidate Lee Jae-myung will be abstaining from voting.
He added, "They are just hiding their claws," and emphasized, "If candidate Lee becomes president, he will be able to take control of the three branches of power, including the legislative, executive and judicial branches."
Chairman Kwon commented on the Democratic Party's withdrawal of the bill to appoint non-legal personnel to the Supreme Court and to increase the number of justices by 100.
"If he wins the presidential election, he will try again," he said. Chairman Kwon held a press conference at the National Assembly on the same day regarding pending presidential election issues, saying, "Candidate Lee's defeat is the path to protecting the lives of the people and the rule of law."
"Even if candidate Lee wins, he will not be able to avoid a guilty verdict, so he will not give up control of the judiciary," he said.
